    Novotel Centara Hat Yai Reviews

The most expensive hotel at Hatyai and the best

The lobby and lobby lounge & bar are all very grand but once you get upstairs to the rooms, it is a little more shabby and needs a refurb. Still very good and probably he best place in Hat Yai. Breakfast buffet is a little pricey but still a very large selection and good fresh food. The biggest downfall we had with the hotel was that the reception staff lacked sufficient English. The internet didn't work at all and so there was a problem with our booking voucher but we couldn't explain it to them.

Very good hotel, especially restaurant - Novotel Centara Hat Yai

I and my girlfriend were NOT staying in this hotel, but in one nearby. However, we came to Novotel every day to have dinner and also some coffee, as they have great café downstairs (which, actually, doesn’t belong to a hotel unfortunately). The reason why I say “unfortunately” is because we both love visiting cafes throughout the world (US, Russia, Europe, and now Southeast Asia). And the point I am trying to make is usually, as per our experience, in Thailand there are only very small amount of businesses accept credit cards and we don’t have it a habit of carrying tons of cash with us, we usually always use credit cards. However, since the café doesn’t belong to a hotel, we had to negotiate that what we pick downstairs in that café could be included in our bill upstairs in their restaurant. So, they agreed. That was nice of them. The food in the restaurant could in our view be compared only to the best places we have been so far, it was simply excellent! I wish they were included in ZAGAT survey. Usually in Thailand you cannot really explain yourself, just like the locals can barely understand what the heck you are trying to say, which is very annoying, but it’s a sad fact. The staff in the lobby was very attentive and professional. English language level was much higher than what we have seen so far.

The most expensive hotel at Hatyai and the best-Novotel Centara Hat Yai

It is indeed the highest class of hotel can offer at Hatyai. Its service and anemeties are unbeaten within Hatyai. THe location is strategic where you can assess to shopping store(or streets) and restaurant within walking distance. Swimming pool is not somthing worth boast of, as tourists (from malayisa) are not going to Hatyai to swim.

A famaly holiday-Novotel Centara Hat Yai

Very courteous staff right from bellhop to reception. Rooms are very spacious with kingsize bed. Hairdryer, electric hot flask as slippers are provided in the room. As the reception is on the 6th floor, all rooms are from the 7th floor onwards so you can really feel a sense of security. Also, the Japanese restaurant on the 6th floor is a must visit as it serves a very wide variety of food during dinner (Buffet). Will definitely stay here if they can still maintain the very reasonable rate which is really a steal. * Liked — Very courteous staff, nice and clean room with kingsize bed. Good breakfast with a variety of chinese, Indian as well as Western food. Situated right in the hub of the city and within walking distance of shopping and eateries from morning to late night.

    Novotel Hatyai excellant location

Good location, right in the middle of town. Odeon Dept Store, Robinson is within walking distance. In fact, I walked to Diana Dept Store as well. Lot's of restaurant around the corner that sells bird nest. Love the glutinuous rice with mango. Shopping is everywhere. Swimming pool is good enough for kids. Buffet breakfast is so so only. Kinda dissapointed when I ask for a king size bed. They ingeniously combined the two super single to make it a king for me!! Room definitely need a new coat of paint. Hospitality is good though with informative and helpfull staff. Overall a 7 out of 10 for a 3 star hotel.

Traveller at firstime been there-Novotel Centara Hat Yai

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the centre of the shopping and eating vicinity. The only disadvantage is that the entry to the hotel lobby on the sixth floor is by two small lifts. The room is reasonable sized but however, the hotel do not support coffee and tea making facilities which many hotels worldwide normally do.

Ok for a Business Hotel-Novotel Centara Hat Yai

The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to shopping, restuarants and massages. The hotel offers swimming pool, health club and spa services which incidentally runs quite an attractive promotion for a 3 hour spa treatment for men and women. The downside was uring my stay some renovation work were carried out, the sound of drilling and knocking was quite annoying.
